Dawn Parouse is President of Original Film Television. Parouse joined forces with Original Film's Neal Moritz and Marty Adelstein to launch Original Television last year. This season, they are producing the dramas TRU CALLING and STILL LIFE for FOX. Their company is also producing the comedy "The Help." Prior to this, Parouse was in an overall deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television where she was executive producer of "Septuplets."
Formerly Vice-President of Development and Original Programming at MTV, Parouse left to head her own production company. The reality program "Fear," her well-received first endeavor, premiered on MTV in September 2000 and out-performed all other cable programming in its time-slot and demographic. In addition to "Fear," she has produced the series "Cannonball Run 2001" and the U.S. version of the hit U.K. show "Robot Wars." Parouse was Executive Producer of the five time Emmy-nominated cable movie "The Tiger Woods Story," and produced Academy Award-winning director Jessica Yu's feature documentary "The Living Museum." Previously, she served as a producer at "Saturday Night Live" and "The Jon Stewart Show."
