Jeri Ryan portrays Seven of Nine, an intriguing new character who joins
the cast of the popular series "Star Trek: Voyager" airing
WEDNESDAYS (9:00-10:00 pm, ET/PT) on UPN. Once detached
from the Collective, she begins to take on a more human appearance,
revealing a sensual creature neither fully Borg nor fully human.
Jeri Ryan portrays Seven of Nine, a young female Borg who is brought aboard the Federation starship when her ties to the Collective are severed. The unconventional character Seven of Nine is introduced in the premiere
episode of "Star Trek:Voyager." By the second episode of the season, the
character begins transformation. This unpredictable, alluring new series
regular will prove a daily challenge to Captain Janeway and her crew.

"Scorpion, Part II" - The ship remains on Red Alert after Janeway, in exchange for safe passage through space, reaches an agreement with the Borg Collective to help them fight Species Eight Four Seven Two, a race more malevolent than their own, on the season premiere of "Star Trek: Voyager" airing WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 (9:00-10:00 p.m.,ET/PT) on UPN. Actress Jeri Ryan is introduced as a regular cast member, Seven of Nine.
Although Chakotay strongly objects to the unpredictable collaboration, Janeway and Tuvok transport, with great caution, to the Borg Cube. When a drone attempts to temporarily assimilate Janeway by connecting a neuro-transreceiver to her, the alarmed Captain convinces them to instead choose a representative to communicate verbally with her. Soon, a vaguely human Borg emerges to speak for the Collective; designated Seven of Nine, she helps them prepare to engage the enemy - but when she boards Voyager, the entire crew is on edge. Meanwhile, the Doctor determines that the mysterious alien species is accessing Kes' memory.
