At first, Marion thinks it's all a joke when he receives his subpoena. However, when radical feminist lawyer Gloria Allblack is brought on the case, Marion stops laughing and asks Max to defend him. The case is presided over by Judge Bobbie Redding, who at first seems to be siding with the plaintiff, but then again, she seems to have eyes for Marion.

Starring are LL Cool J as Marion Hill, Alfonso Ribeiro as Maxwell Stanton, Kim Wayans as Tonia Harris, and Maia Campbell as Tiffany Warren.
