Longtime writing and producing partners Bob Burris and Michael Ware are executive producers of In the House, the comedy series starring Grammy Award-winning rap artist LL Cool J, Alfonso Ribeiro, Kim Wayans and Maia Campbell. In the House is produced by Quincy Jones/David Salzman Entertainment in association with NBC Studios for broadcast on UPN.
Burris and Ware met when both were working as pages at NBC. After working at other jobs, the two began writing together in 1988. Most recently, they were executive producers of the comedy series Buddies. During the 1994-`95 season, they served as co-executive producers of Thunder Alley, starring Ed Asner. From 1989-`92, they worked on the hit series Growing Pains, starting out as story editors and moving through the ranks to supervising producer status. Their Growing Pains stint was followed by a two year development deal with Warner Bros.
Burris and Ware are California natives.
