Film, theater and Emmy Award-winning television star Christopher Lloyd returns to series television as Sebastian Jackal, a video game super-villain inadvertently set loose into the real world, in Deadly Games, a new science fiction action-adventure series from Viacom Productions for broadcast on UPN.
Lloyd is instantly recognized for his portrayal of spaced-out '60s throwback Reverend Jim Ignatowski on the hit television series Taxi, for which he received two Emmy Awards. More recently, he starred with Laura San Giacomo in Showtime Network's Fallen Angels, which was executive produced by Sydney Pollack.
In feature film, he created and then twice reprised the role of Dr. Emmett Brown in Steven Spielberg's "Back to the Future" trilogy. Lloyd, who'll next be seen in "Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead," has appeared in some of Hollywood's biggest critical and box office successes, including "The Addams Family" and its sequel, "The Addams Family Values," "Who Framed Roger Rabbit," "Star Trek II" and "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest." Other film credits include "Angels in the Outfield," "Camp Nowhere" and "The Pagemaster."
In addition to his work in television and film, Lloyd has been recognized by the theater community with an Obie and Drama Desk Award for his off-Broadway work in "Kasper." Other theater credits include the Broadway production of "Happy End" and such New York Shakespeare Festival and off-Broadway productions as "MacBeth," "The Seagull," "Boom Boom Room," "Total Eclipse," "As They Put Handcuffs On the Flowers" and "Red, White and Maddox."
He is a native of Stamford, CT.
