Stacey Dash portrays Dionne, a Beverly Hills teenager with a wickedly sly sense of humor and a penchant for flawlessly blending eclectic styles of clothing, in UPN's half-hour comedy series, "Clueless." Dash reprises the role from the blockbuster motion picture of the same name.
Born in the Bronx, Dash clearly remembers her decision to enter the acting arena when, at the age of seven, she played Bambi's mother in her third grade play. It was the memorable death scene that the young Dash found so poignant and one that spurred her future career.
Successful work in commercials led Dash to television series roles. Among her credits are "TV 101," "St. Elsewhere" and "The Cosby Show."
Soon thereafter, Dash made her motion picture debut as Richard Pryor's daughter in the comedy "Moving." She went on to play the role of a 17-year-old con artist on the run in "Twist of Fate." In addition, she had roles in "Mo' Money" and "Renaissance Man" before landing the role in "Clueless."
She makes her home in the Los Angeles area.
