Breaker High

James Shavick

James Shavick serves as the Executive Producer of Breaker High, a new half hour live action series produced by Saban Entertainment, Inc. for broadcast on UPN.

As President and CEO of Shavick Entertainment, which currently generates approximately 15 percent of Vancouver's film production, Shavick has produced more than 20 films during the past three years, including "Sealed With A Kiss," starting C. Thomas Howell; "Exception To The Rule," starring Sean Young and William Devane; "The Heist," starring Andrew McCarthy; "Past Perfect," staring Eric Roberts; "Panic In The Skies," starring Kate Jackson; and "Someone To Die For," starting Corbin Bernsen.

Shavick began his prolific film career in the early 1970s, making documentaries and cornmercials. His first feature film was the 1975 release "Two Solitudes." Since that time, Shavick has served as producer or executive producer on a number of television series and specials, in addition to a total of more than 40 feature films. Prior to starting his own production company, he served in executive capacities at Astral, RKO and City Lights Entertainment.

Shavick also serves as producer for the new kids' series Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation, which is scheduled for broadcast on the Fox Kids' Network this Fall.
