The long and bleak Muriwai Beach
|
Muriwai Beach really marks the end of the dramatic coastline of the
Waitakeri Ranges; as you can see from this picture Muriwai Beach
stretches on for miles to the north.
The headland at the southern end of the beach includes a small
rocky outcrop on which a bird colony has become well established.
You may recognise this vista from the scene where Xena and Gabrielle
are on the cliffs immediately prior to their journey to Illusia in
The Bitter Suite.
