Jessica Stroup stars as Silver, the quirky and eccentric student at West Beverly Hills High and star/producer of her own YouTube-type video series, on The CW's new drama "90210."
Stroup has quickly established herself as a highly sought-after young actress in both film and television. She was recently seen starring opposite Brittany Snow in the horror remake "Prom Night." The film was a hit and earned a number one spot at the box office with a $20 million opening, an upper tier debut for the genre.
Stroup also starred as the female lead in "The Hills Have Eyes II." Her additional feature credits include the hit film "This Christmas," alongside Chris Brown and Mekhi Phifer, "Broken" and "School for Scoundrels." Stroup recently wrapped two independent films and stars in the lead role opposite Mischa Barton in "Homecoming." She will also be seen in "The Informers," with Billy Bob Thornton and Winona Ryder.
Stroup's television credits include guest starring roles on "Grey's Anatomy," "October Road" and The CW's "Reaper." She will next be seen guest starring in HBO's forthcoming Alan Ball series "True Blood."
Stroup left her hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina, at age 17 for Los Angeles, where she immediately began working as a model and actress. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
